The Journey to Me: My Blog

I'm contemplating deleting this blog. . .no worries.  I plan to start a new blog, perhaps with a slightly different theme.  

Lately, I've been all about letting go of my past and recreating myself into who I want to be.  This hasn't really been entirely easy or fun.  Especially since its still pretty foggy in here.  But I've done a lot of changing: gotten rid of my piercings, moved to cities, changed jobs, deleted facebook, changed my number, etc.  I've had this blog for over two years now.  There is a lot of my in this blog. . .which makes me want to delete it and start over, but it also makes me want to keep it.  So another possibility is that I will "end" this blog, and start another one.  An end to one part of my life, and the start of another. :) Comments are appreciated :) 

My Blog

So I've changed a few things around lately.  At the top of my blog you will find the title and a brief description :) To the right you will find a picture of me, the number of hits I've gotten (not recorded from the start of my blog), a few polls, recent comments, my blog archive, and my lables.  My blog archive is a list of all my posts in order of date and the lables are how I tagged my posts.  So if you want to find posts about a certain thing you just look for the word and click it to find all the posts about or including that lable.  Then at the bottom of my blog I have a link to my google profile and then a list of all my links which you should all check out.  I have other pages of mine, and a few other blogs and websites I think you should take a peek at.  Then of course, front and center you have all of my posts.  Enjoy and feel free to let me know what you think.  You can always leave a comment, or select a reaction at the bottom of each post to check.  Thanks.

Goal Reached!!

So my 5000-hits-by-Midnight goal was reached!!. . .as far as I know :P At midnight last night I wasn't exactly at my computer to check. . .no I was brining in the New Year the right way :) but when I checked this morning, I had well over 5000 hits so I will assume that I reached it haha!!  HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE AND THANKS TO EVERYONE THAT HELPED ME GET 5000 HITS, I REALLY APPRECIATE IT.

I was just informed today that my readers were unable to post comments on my page.  This was due to my third party template that I uploaded, but I just wanted to let you all know that it is fixed and you can now leave as many comments as you want.  Happy reading :D

Changing It Up

I don't know if you've noticed, but I've actually been working all day long on getting a new template for my blog.  I've changed it probably about 15 times today and I've finally (maybe) settled on this one.  I figured that since its just passed the 1 year anniversary of my blog and I haven't changed the template since I made it. . .it was time for a change.  I like this template because its very. . .me.  Everything I stand for involves peace and love so I thought this was appropriate.  I hope you like it, if not. . .oh well, I can't please everyone.  Enjoy :D

Anniversary

okay so I'm a little sad because I couldn't get my computer to connect to the internet yesterday here at Oneonta, but I finally got it working this morning.  I'm sad because yesterday was a very special day.  Yesterday was not only the day that I moved to Oneonta, but it was also the 1 year anniversary of my blog!!  So I was planning on posting this image:

But now its a little belated, but I still think its cool that I've had my blog for a year now.  So 1 year, 2449 views (in the last few months because I added that app late. . .I think I've had it since like May)  and 222 posts :) I think its been a pretty good year, a lot of interesting turns my life has taken since the start of my blog lol and I'm sure the next year will be the same and you will be right here with me to experience it. 

Flattered

I'm flattered :) I started my blog after seeing the movie Julie and Julia, it was a movie about Julia Childs and how this woman Julie wrote a blog about how she cooked all of the recipies in Julia Childs cook book.  Since then I've posted in my blog several times a week.  It will be one year this August and I'm psyched!  I honestly wasn't sure I was going to keep going even this long because I have a short attention span, but I have grown to be so passionate about my blog and it actually means a lot to me.  Well this guy I know. . .(I might as well say his name) Jason, started a blog because he thought it was a cool idea after seeing mine.  His first blog he wrote a bit about me and I was sincerely flattered.  I hope he doesn't mind but I am going to put a link to his blog at the bottom of this one so you can all read it.  Hope you don't mind Jason :)  It made me feel really good that I could do that and inspire him to start a blog.  I hope he becomes as passionate about his blog as I am about mine.  Best of luck Jason.

My Blog

When I started writing my blog, it was just for fun.  It was just a place to put my writing.  It didn't really have a purpose, I just wanted to give it a shot.  Now. . .my blog is so much more than that, to me anyways.  My blog is my vent.  I vent my feelings, my thoughts, my rants on my blog.  Its a place to show off my writing and let other people critique it.  Its my piece of art.  Its a piece of me. . .my soul.  I am very passionate about my blog and thats why I post on here several times a week.  I put effort into these things.  Do I think that many people care about my life?? No, not at all.  Do I care who reads it?  No, not really.  I like that people read it, comment, and talk about my blog.  It makes me happy when people care. . .but I don't think I would stop doing it even if no one read it or commented or whatever.  I can say whatever I want in my blog. . .about whatever I want because its mine.  Its all mine.  Its completely personal.  I've written so much on here about my life and sometimes people don't even know about it.  I write in code a lot. . .in my poetry.  I'll write about things and no one really has any idea what its about, but they read it and like it. . .but I know.  Thats all that matters.  I love to write.  My blog is my canvas and my words are my paint and together, in my opinion, I make beautiful masterpieces.  I put my heart and soul into everything I write and sometimes I write about things that are painful, sad, happy, beautiful. . .and when I write it down. . .I make art and I feel better and I'm happy about it.

Okay, this goes out to all the people that feel the need to leave rude comments or click "hate it" on something just to be a prick.  I'm sorry that you don't have a life.  I'm sorry you don't have friends, a job, school, or anything that keeps you busy and makes you happy.  You must be really bored and lonely if you can't think of anything better to do than to comment on my blog.  If you don't like me, or you don't like my blog. . .why waste your time reading it?  You must have a lot of free time, but you know what. . .go ahead.  Comment on my blog all you want.  Click "hate it" as much as you want.  If its keeping you off the streets and away from drugs go ahead.
